The event will be led by Drew Innes, Sommelier and Wine Director of STOCK T.C Together, we will explore and compare two of the greatest red varieties of Italy; Nebbiolo, the King of the North and Nerello Mascalese, the King of the South. 2018 'Muntacc' Coste della Sesia DOC, La Prevostura

Nebbiolo 85%, Vespolina 15%

Ageing/Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel with 20 days of post-fermentation maceration, malolactic in steel. Refinement in wood for 16 months. Bottled for 9 months.

Alcohol: 14%

Description: On the hills of the Prevostura, on the coast of the "Muntacc", Nebbiolo and Vespolina mature. From the wise union of these grapes comes the Coste della Sesia, a structured red, elegant and austere.

2018 Outis Etna Rosso DOC, Biondi

80% Nerello Mascalese, 20% Nerello Cappuccio

Vinification/Ageing: 11 days maceration, controlled low temperature fermentation in stainless steel with selected yeasts. 10 months ageing in both stainless steel and neutral barrels. No fining or filtering.

Alcohol: 13.%

Description: Ruby red with hues of garnet. Delicate nose with hints of cherry, chestnut blossom and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full and well balanced, with good length, earthy minerality and bright acidity.
