Buona Festa del Papà! Happy Father's Day! Spoil Dad this year with a BBQ inspired meal from Sud Forno's Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi. We've also included gift add-ons for you to choose from to make Dad's day that much more special. Choose the multi-course meal on its own or pair it our sommelier's handpicked selection of wines from our wine agency Cavinona! 



Included in the box:

Pane Pugliese: semola rimacinata di Altamura, mother yeast (white flour and water), salt

Tomino alla Griglia: tomino (cow’s milk), asparagus, radicchio, salt, pepper.

Pomodorini per Bruschetta: cherry tomatoes, EVOO, garlic, oregano, basil

Spiedini: polpo (octopus, zucchini, cherry tomatoes), gamberi (shrimp)

Terroni Sausage: pork shoulder, black pepper, crushed red chilli, paprika, salt, pepper

Smoked Pork Baby Back Ribs: nutmeg, dark brown sugar, black peppercorns, fennel seeds, crushed red chilli, salt, cinnamon, paprika, garlic, caraway seeds

Sweet & Hot Chicken Drumsticks: black pepper, lemon, salt, red wine vinegar, hot chilli peppers, EVOO, brown sugar, smoke

Sweet BBQ Sauce: brown sugar, chili, apple cider vinegar, lemon, orange, smoke

Hot BBQ Sauce: Terroni chili peppers, vinegar, worcheshire sauce, salt, garlic

Insalatina Mista: spring mix, romaine, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, radishes, heirloom carrots, balsamic vinaigrette

Coppa di Mascarpone: mascarpone, sugar, strawberries, vanilla bean, sponge cake (eggs, flour, sugar, corn starch)


Tomino alla Griglia: Preheat BBQ over medium heat, grill the tomino for 3 minutes on each side in its parchment. Grilled vegetables for 4-5 minutes over medium heat, rotating them once. Arrange on a plate, drizzle EVOO, season with salt & pepper.

Bruschetta: Preheat BBQ. Slice the Pugliese bread in slices that are 3 cm thick. Lightly drizzle with EVOO and grill a couple of minutes per side on medium heat. Take the garlic clove and rub on the bread slice, along with the tomatoes. Drizzle additional olive oil, season with salt and pepper.

Spiedini: Season with EVOO, salt and pepper. Grill over medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side.

Smoked Pork Baby Back Ribs: Grill on BBQ (indirect heat) at low-medium heat (300F) for 10-15 min, drizzle with proffered sauce.

Sweet & Hot Chicken Thighs: Grill over indirect heat on the BBQ for 20 minutes, serve with preferred sauce.

Sausages: Grill on medium heat BBQ for 10 minutes.

Insalatina Mista: Toss salad in a bowl with dressing and serve.

Coppa di Mascarpone: Ready to serve.

It measures 24 inches wide and 43 inches long. 






2019 Al Posto Dei Fiori Rosato DOC, Le Pianelle: A stunning dry rosé with hints of wild strawberry, lychee, and watermelon. The bouquet is dominated by floral notes and an underlying minerality- this is a big wine with a long finish. An exceptionally long life span of 5+ years.


2019 "Trebium" Spoleto DOC, Antonelli San Marco: Intense straw yellow colour tending to gold. A nose of citrus and tropical fruit, almond and hawthorn blossom. Dry and crisp palate with a full acidic structure, typical of the varietal.


2017 Filari Corti, Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Brandini: Typical garnet Nebbiolo colour. The nose has great depth with notes of rose, oregano and mushroom. On the palate, the body is firm with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins, and complexity. The Langhe Nebbiolo is the most elegant expression of this grape variety.


2013 Classic Method Brut Rosé, Carvinea: Softly sparkling with fine and persistent perlage. The colour is an onion peel pink with copper hints. The aromas are complex, dominated by fruity and flowery notes, enriched with pleasant hints of bread crust. It expresses unique elegance, pleasant freshness and the smoothness of the bubble.




Delivery & Pickup 

Local Delivery

We now deliver our meal boxes with Trexity! Enter your postal code when you checkout to see if you are eligible for local delivery (20km radius from Spaccio at 22 Sackville Street). Deliveries arrive between 12pm-8pm, but usually on the earlier side. For questions about your delivery, please contact Spaccio directly at (416) 368-4248. You will receive same day delivery if you order before 3pm. Orders placed after 3pm will arrive next day. Deliveries with Trexity can be tracked from the moment your order is being prepared up until you receive your order. 

Store Pickup

Store pickup for this item is available at Sud Forno Queen (716 Queen St. W.) or at Spaccio (22 Sackville St.) on Friday the 18th, Saturday the 19th or Sunday the 20th (Spaccio only). Choose your pickup date and time on the checkout page.
