2016 'Rocolo' Valpolicella Superiore DOC, Piccoli Daniela, Veneto
Dark red ruby colour with shades of orange. The nose reveals notes of ripe fruit with hints of mint and eucalyptus. Full bodied, well structured with elegant tannins, and a long finish. 6000 bottles made.

Vinification/Ageing: 20 days spent in fruttaio (drying room) followed by 15 day cold maceration. 1 month fermentation in stainless steel and refining in 5 to 30 hl French oak barrels for at least 3 years and an extra few months in stainless steel tanks. Released after an additional 6 months in bottle.
