Our colomba is handcrafted by our Head baker; made with flours from a small mill in the Marche region of Italy, fresh free-range eggs, butter, vanilla beans and NO PRESERVATIVES of any kind!
Our traditional Colomba is made with Sicilian candied fruit and raisins; if you're looking for something more decadent try our irresistible dark chocolate Colomba di Pasqua. We make our colomba with mother yeast, and allow each loaf to leaven over a period of 36 hours enabling all of its flavours to mature and bind slowly. The result is a sweetly buttery, fragrant Easter offering.

Fun fact: traditionally, the bread is shaped like a flying dove to represent peace and resurrection.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Given the demand of last year we anticpate selling out again this year. We encourage you to place your order early online. It will be available for pick-up at Sud Forno only FROM MARCH 24th to APRIL 1st. Please note that given the absence of preservatives, it's better to enjoy this delicious treat within 15 days from the production date.
