FATTO A MANO: FAZZOLETTI DI BUFALA
If you are interested in learning the art of pasta fatta in casa then our monthly "Fatto a Mano" series hosted at Sud Forno on Queen is the event for you! Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi will guide you in the journey to master the techniques of home-made pasta. From egg pasta typical of Emilia Romagna (tagliatelle, ravioli or tortellini) to orecchiette and cavatelli from the south, get your hands dirty and learn in a fun and interactive atmosphere. This month we will learn to roll pasta like a "sfoglina" with a traditional "mattarello" or rolling pin. You'll be hand making "fazzoletti", triangular shaped pasta, and filling them with Bufalo mozzarella freshly imported from Puglia. All of this while snacking on delicious Sud Forno aperitivo food and sipping on Prosecco.
