FATTO A MANO: I TORTELLINI (DEC 16th)
If you are interested in learning the art of pasta fatta in casa (homemade pasta) then our monthly "Fatto a Mano" series hosted at Sud Forno Queen is the event for you! Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi will guide you in the journey to master the techniques of homemade pasta. From egg pasta typical of Emilia Romagna like tagliatelle, ravioli or tortellini to orecchiette and cavatelli from the south, get your hands dirty and learn in a fun and interactive atmosphere.
Tortellini have been described as “Bologna on a spoon”- one bite and they’ll immediately take you there! Why not travel through your palate at this month’s Fatto a Mano class? Let executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi take you there as she shares with you her family’s recipe for “Tortellini”, how to make the authentic filling, and all the secrets of a real sfoglina. Tortellini is Italy’s quintessential Christmas dish and you could learn how to make it all the while snacking on delicious Sud Forno aperitivo food and sipping on Prosecco (first glass on us).
