FATTO A MANO: LE TROFIE
If you are interested in learning the art of pasta fatta in casa then our monthly "Fatto a Mano" series hosted at Sud Forno on Queen is the event for you. Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi will guide you in the journey to master the techniques of home-made pasta. From egg pasta typical of Emilia Romagna (tagliatelle, ravioli or tortellini) to orecchiette and cavatelli from the south, get your hands dirty and learn in a fun and interactive atmosphere. This month we will be teaching you the secrets to trofie; a short, thin, twisted pasta originally from Liguria, which is also the birthplace of the hugely famous "Pesto alla Genovese." All of this while snacking on delicious Sud Forno aperitivo food and sipping on Prosecco.
