If you are interested in learning the art of pasta fatta in casa (homemade pasta) then our monthly "Fatto a Mano" series hosted at Sud Forno Queen is the event for you! Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi will guide you in the journey to master the techniques of homemade pasta. From egg pasta typical of Emilia Romagna like tagliatelle, ravioli or tortellini to orecchiette and cavatelli from the south, get your hands dirty and learn in a fun and interactive atmosphere.
"Orecchiette e Cime Di Rapa" is a typical dish from the rural traditions of Puglia. When the weather gets colder, "Cime di Rapa" (rapini) become available in the Bari region. The richness of this dish with its bread crumbs, anchovy, garlic, and chili warms every household. Ring in the fall season Barese style as you join Sud Forno Executive Chef, Giovanna Alonzi, at this September's "Fatto a Mano" class to learn the most authentic version of this dish all the while snacking on delicious Sud Forno aperitivo food and sipping on Prosecco. We're sure you'll want to savour this dish all winter long!
