If you are interested in learning the art of pasta fatta in casa (homemade pasta) then our monthly "Fatto a Mano" series hosted at Sud Forno Queen is the event for you! Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi will guide you in the journey to master the techniques of homemade pasta. From egg pasta typical of Emilia Romagna like tagliatelle, ravioli or tortellini to orecchiette and cavatelli from the south, get your hands dirty and learn in a fun and interactive atmosphere.
It's November! Mushroom season is at its prime in Italy and it's time to warm up with some nourishing and sexy comfort food. Let Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi guide you through making pillowy, cheesy, Porcini filled Casoncelli in a buttery Parmigiano sauce. Stay out of the cold while Chef Gio shares sfoglina secrets and unveils some of the marvels that come from a mattarello all the while snacking on delicious Sud Forno aperitivo food and sipping on Prosecco (first glass on us).
The ticket to the class
The ticket to the class + a Ravioli Stamp Square Copper Bronze Edition designed by Marcato. The body of the stamps are made of brass to guarantee a clean cut of the pasta sheet. The anodized aluminium spring-operated ejection mechanism is designed to evenly press the filling and obtain a perfect hemisphere.
The ticket to the class + a Pastawheel Copper Edition designed by Marcato. The pastawheel has an interchangeable cutting accessory. Straight or Zigzag, you can express your creativity by cutting sheets for pasta, sweets and biscuits.
