Buona Festa della Mamma! Celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday with a special dinner prepared by Sud Forno's Executive Chef Giovanna Alonzi!

Antipasto: prosciutto di parma, Ontario mozzarella di bufala, endive, asparagus, EVO, salt, olives, taralli
Manicotti: Pasta Dough: semolina rimacinata, flour, eggs / Manicotti Filling: ricotta, parmigiano, pecorino, spinach, butter, salt / Bechamel: butter, flour, milk, nutmeg, salt / san marzano tomatoes, EVO
Arrosto di Maiale: Ontario pork, rosemary, thyme, sage, garlic, salt, pepper, fennel, EVO

Terroni Warm Chocolate Cake 75% Chocolate, butter, cocoa powder, sugar, egg / Ganache: white chocolate, 35% cream
Carvinea Otto IGT Salento Rosso 2017: Brilliant ruby red with rich aromas of cherries, red flowers and warm spice. Balanced palate with fresh acidity and a long finish. A tribute to the native grape variety Ottavianello and its home in the town of Ostuni.
Il Colombaio di Santa Chiara 'Albereta' Vernaccia Riserva 2016: Straw-coloured with golden hues. A captivating perfume with notes of apricot, which blend with the balsamic notes of the maturation in wood barrels. On the palate it is highly structured, with a vibrating and vivid sourness. Perfect for a long aging.
Antipasto: Ready to serve, simply arrange everything on a beautiful board or platter.
Manicotti: Preheat oven to 375 F. Bake for 20 minutes. Switch oven to broil for 1 minute to crisp the top of the manicotti if necessary.
Arrosto di Maiale: Preheat oven to 375 F. Reheat pork roast for 10 minutes. It should not be served hot, but simply warm.
Terroni Verde Salad: Place salad in a mixing bowl, drizzle with dressing and toss. Plate salad in a ceramic bowl and serve.
Terroni Warm Chocolate Cake: IMPORTANT - the warm chocolate cake should be baked from room temperature. Preheat oven to 450. Bring a small pot of water to a boil and warm the white chocolate ganache piping bag. Bake the warm chocolate cake for 6-8 minutes. It is ready when it begins to swell. Plate the cake by serving it upside down on a plate and covering it with the white chocolate ganache.
