It's the long weekend! This week Sud Forno has teamed up with Spaccio (Sud Forno and Terroni's central kitchen, caffè and storefront at 22 Sackville Street) to bring you a BBQ box just in time for the long weekend. Get the box on its own with a variety of meats and sides or pair it with some Cavinona wines or Krombacher beers.

San Carlo Simply Salted Potato Chips
Asparagi, Zucchine, Cipolline: asparagus, zucchini, baby green onions, mint, maldon salt, evo
Insalata di Patate: fingerling potatoes, green beans, olives, celery, carrot, red onion, parsley, red wine vinegar, evo, mayonnaise (yolk, lemon, sunflower oil, mustard, salt, pepper)
Fennel Sausage: pork shoulder, black pepper, fennel seeds, salt, star anise, garlic, red wine
Rosemary Sausage: pork shoulder, rosemary, thyme, lemons, cloves, red wine
Terroni Sausage: pork shoulder, black pepper, crushed red chilli, paprika
Smoked Pork Baby Back Ribs: nutmeg, dark brown sugar, black peppercorns, fennel seeds, crushed red chilli, salt, cinnamon, paprika, garlic, caraway seeds
Sweet & Hot Chicken Thighs: black pepper, lemon, tomato paste, salt, red wine vinegar, hot chilli peppers, extra virgin olive oil, peeled shallots, garlic, roasted red peppers
2016 Antano Montefalco Rosso DOC: Ripe, racy effort laced with dried fruit, cinnamon and tobacco. A medium to full-bodied Rosso where harmonious flavours of spice and tobacco add complexity to the fresh finish.
2018 Monteraponi Rosato Toscano IGT: A rosé, brilliant and of an intense pink, it presents notes of strawberry and raspberry. Sangiovese gives high notes of acidity and freshness, also guaranteeing durability and longevity, characteristics not common for a rosé.
4-Pack Krombacher Pils: On the nose, Krombacher Pils provides an abundance of fruity hop aromas, which give way to a beautifully balanced malt backbone on the palate. Fresh and smooth, the famous Felsquellwasser and Halletau hops ensure the beer is crisp, clean and offers a refreshing , long-lasting light bitter finish.
4-Pack Krombacher Hell: Lightly opal but gleaming in golden appearance. The fine bitter notes are very restrained, reminding you of freshly harvested hops and the beer is well balanced with a diversity of flavors and a satisfyingly pleasant malty sweetness on the finish.
Asparagi, Zucchine, Cipolline: Sear vegetables on a hot grill and season with additional olive oil.
Insalata di Patate: Ready to serve.
Sausages: Grill on medium heat BBQ until ready.
Smoked Pork Baby Back Ribs: Grill on BBQ (indirect heat) at low-medium heat (300F) for 1.5 - 2 hours. When the meat is soft, start to glaze with preferred sauce choice for 10 minutes. Wrap in aluminum and rest for 15 minutes.
Sweet & Hot Chicken Thighs: Grill on medium heat BBQ until ready.
