2016 Taurasi DOCG, Cantine Lonardo, Campania: The wine has an intense ruby-red colour, appearing rather dense. On the nose, it is rich and persistent with hints of crunchy red fruit, floral elements, notes of graphite, with a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it feels warm, with soft tannins well integrated into the body of the wine, avoiding excessive dryness. The freshness gives the wine liveliness and ensures its longevity. It evokes aromatic and balsamic herbs in the aftertaste.
2022 'Otto Rosa' Salento IGT, Carvinea, Puglia: Beautiful ruby point, translucent. Without half-measures, it detonates with aromas of cherry and wild strawberries, intense as usual, the tones of resin and summer flowers and more bark, dark spices and a faint caress of vanilla aroma. In the mouth, it has class to spare: the attack is fresh and savoury, and then it accelerates with silky tannin well dissolved in the graceful structure. Enviable precision of the olfactory references that animate a long persistence.
2023 'Merularosa' Salento IGT, Carvinea, Puglia: Bright cherry-pink colour. Typical notes of black currant and cherry tones with slight spicy hints. In the mouth is fresh and sapid. the flavour is pleasant with a fruity persistence. It is well paired with appetizers and Mediterranean dishes.
2022 'Forastera' Ischia DOC, Casa d'Ambra, Campania: Straw yellow with golden hues. Pleasant fruity aromas, such as apricot and yellow peach, and hints of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate, this wine is dry, almondy, characterful, and persistent.
NV Franciacorta Brut DOCG, Contadi Castaldi, Lombardia: This is a lively brut, full of fragrance, tending to smoothness and an accessible sensory language, with a balanced and versatile style. In the glass it is yellow in colour with greenish reflections, enlivened by a fine and persistent pérlage. The nose is fresh, with floral notes of lime, shades of citrus, white peach and green pepper. The mouth is tight and crisp, fresh and vertical, full-bodied, refined and with a lingering very enjoyable finish.
NV 'Remigio 101' Lambrusco di Sorbara Rose, Ca' De' Medici, Emilia-Romagna: Lively rosé colour with a fruity and tart taste. The Sorbara is regarded as the highest-quality Lambrusco clone; the grapes provide a more concentrated flavour. Refreshing and vibrant, best consumed young.
NV Prosecco Brut DOC, Le Monde, Friuli-Venezia Giulia: Pale, straw-yellow in colour, with a lively fine mousse. A pleasant, delicate aroma with hints of fruity golden apple and floral wisteria which give way to notes of crusty bread. Dynamic and fresh-tasting, very well-balanced.
