Autochthonous Irpinia grape historically called “Grecomusc’,” officially listed since 2009 as “Rovello Bianco.” Intense straw-yellow with golden reflections, offering mineral notes, yellow flowers, preserved peach, and vanilla. Dry, warm, and savoury with good acidity, persistence, and aging potential, best expressing its terroir after two years.
Producer: Cantine Lonardo
Varietals: Rovello Bianco
Vinification/Ageing: Hand-harvested grapes are immediately transported to the winery in 18 kg crates, destemmed, and crushed. They undergo maceration at room temperature for about 2 hours. After racking, fermentation is managed at 18°C. At the end of fermentation, the wine is transferred to steel containers to separate coarse lees, where it rests for about 6-8 months on fine lees. After several racking processes for clarification, it’s bottled with a coarse filtration using inert cartridges with a porosity of 3 microns.
Alcohol: 13.5%
