Discover the art of handmade pasta with an interactive class led by our Executive Chefs. Designed for pasta lovers of all skill levels, this class will take you through the art of making pasta by hand from kneading the dough to plating a classic Italian dish. In this month’s class, we’ll be making Culurgiones al Pomodoro - Sardinian Ravioli in tomato sauce.
You’ll start your evening with some aperitivo snacks and a glass of bubbly before taking your place for the main event. Our Chefs will lead you step-by-step through the process of making pasta by hand. We will then pack up your pasta for you to enjoy at home while our chefs make samples of Culurgiones al Pomodoro for you to try.
After the class stop at our Spaccio restaurant for a glass of wine or dinner to end the night.

ABOUT THE PASTA
Culurgiones are a type of stuffed pasta from Sardinia. Pronounced koo-loor-jo-nes, the name means little bundles. While the origins are unclear, there are two main theories about where they come from - first, is derived from culleus, a small leather bag made in remembrance of lost loved ones. The other is that the pretty braiding-like closure that is meant to resemble an ear of corn and this was a dish originally eaten in rural villages to celebrate the harvest. Typically filled with potato, mint and pecorino stuffing, in 2015, Culurgiones were awarded IGP (Protected Geographical Identification).

Each $95 ticket includes snacks and a welcome drink, a class with our executive chefs, ingredients, the use of any required tools, and the pasta that you made. Any food and/or drinks from the Spaccio restaurant and retail store are an additional cost to the guest. Any equipment used during the class is loaned for the duration of the class and is not included as a take-home in the ticket price.
