WINE CASE DETAILS: 3 bottles (750ml each)
The mixed case of Soave Classico 2020 highlights how the same grape variety can express different characteristics depending on the specific vineyard plot where it is grown.

Suavia’s “I Luoghi” project focuses on three single-vineyard crus -  Castellaro, Fittà and Tremenalto - all made from 100% Garganega, but each coming from a different volcanic soil environment.

Castellaro
Located on the northern side of Monte Castellaro, this vineyard benefits from a cooler exposure and views toward the Lessini Mountains. Its soil is extremely stony, with roots working through a maze of basalt fragments.
Terroir: rocky volcanic soil, altered basalt, rich in stone fragments.
Expression: cooler, more mineral, precise, and elegant, with freshness driven by the site.

Fittà
The home vineyard of Suavia, Fittà sits on strong, clay-rich volcanic soil. The historic Garganega vines are planted on highly altered basaltic volcanic soils, with a warmer, more sheltered exposure that helps give the wine richness and aromatic intensity.
Terroir: clayey volcanic soil, deeply altered basalt, more structured and evolved soils.
Expression: depth, elegance, aromatic complexity, and a pronounced savory/mineral character.

Tremenalto
A steep vineyard within the Tremenalto UGA, its vines grow in ancient, intact volcanic soil of a scarlet-red color. The deep, evolved soils are protected from erosion despite the steep slopes.
Terroir: deep red volcanic soil, evolved basaltic origin, west-facing slopes.
Expression: fuller and more rounded, with richness, mature fruit character, and a strong savory freshness.
