Ruby red with a rich bouquet of wild dark berries, purple flowers, and crushed stone. Full-bodied with supporting tannins on a savoury, mineral finish. From 80 year old vines on the North East slopes of Etna.

Vinification/Ageing: Classic red fermentation in vertical wooden cones, long maceration on the skins and 24 months ageing in Nevers oak cones. Naturally occurring malolactic fermentation.
