Clear ruby red, with a broad bouquet of red iris, dried violets, red currant, raspberry, and fresh plum. In the background there is plenty more: white pepper and pink peppercorn, red licorice, fennel seeds, pomegranate juice and whiffs of savoury spices. A medium-bodied red with a pleasantly supported acidity, delicate tannins, and a medium persistence on the finish.

Vinification/Ageing: Brief maceration in stainless steel with ageing 30% in old barriques for 8 months and the rest in cement tanks. One month refining before release.
